1. The thing about Elvis Presley and America is that I forgot it existed until recently. Then I heard it again and could not believe how bad it was.
  2. Hmmm I would probably go for

Treasure (Whatever Happened To Pete The Chop?)

I actually still like that though, its just that Bono's vocals in the verse are quite mmmm whiney sounding to me.

The National Stadium version is great. Albeit different...
  4. Yeah that version is pretty good, vocals not as whiney sounding.
  5. I still stand by this I posted over 9 years ago:

  6. Pete The Chop is a great song. A great deal was lost when it became Treasure.

And The Refugee is worse than Red Light.

  7. Of course you do. I think we've "agreed to disagree" for about six year now!

Also, it's not the ethereal music that I have a problem with....it's some of those damn awful lyrics....and I'm an Oasis fan so that's saying something!

Right or wrong, I tend to let non album songs "of the hook" for worst song by any given band.

    Digsy's Dinner

  10. Who doesn't love lasagna?!?!?!!?

One of my favourite Oasis songs is "Some Might Say" but "The sink is full of fishes, she's got dirty dishes on the brain" lyric just makes me wonder how hard Noel was really trying back then...and don't even get me started on Liam and his "plasticine!"

Back on topic: I don't need Coca-Cola and (1990's-era) Michael Jackson referenced in any song - let alone the same song! Scroll back a few (many) pages and I'm sure you'll find me stating this back in 2010.

(My two favorite albums by them, and two of my favorite Oasis songs. I like the "fishes" line though, it's fun ).

But yes! On topic. I like TPM but the OJ line is a little weak, as is what you mentioned.

Wouldn't call it their weakest, but maybe the weakest on Pop.

I'd vote to call Party Girl their weakest, though Grace isn't awesome either.
