This is a genuinely good question that I'd like to see brought to the female public, why did you vote for Trump? I mean that sincerely it really interests me because he's either convinced them with his views and policies or they've simply thought Hilary is worse. Interesting topic.

Let's say she gave birth and then decided "never mind" would that be acceptable to abort the baby then? This and a couple of other choices is why I HAD to go against Hillary.

Let me just say one thing about abortion. I know I cannot convince anyone here about my views, but I think we can agree this is not a black or white issue. The problem is that Mike Pence (and the GOP) does not see it like that. Most of the abortions are not from irresponsible women. Most of the abortions are not in the late stages. Most of the abortions are from women with a risk of dying if they continue with it, and the fetus is already dead or severely deformed. Or the woman has been raped. Sadly, for the GOP all abortions should be banned, period. They have no regard for the mother or her health. Pence even humiliated women by forcing them to buy a coffin for the fetus. There are very good laws forbidding late-term abortions or for stupid reasons, but there are special cases in which only the mother can decide for herself, and that's something no government, no religious group can do for her. That's what the GOP wants to kill.

Im still to this day yet to be given a good argument as to why abortion should be legal except from perhaps women who have been raped. Gay rights again is divisive although Iam of the opinion gay people should be given equal rights if that's the right terminology. I have no problems with gay people but do have a problem with people who get pregnant behaving irresponsible only for them to decide that they don't want to keep the child, unacceptable.
Good arguments for abortion?: For me the main reason for the child itself.
    1. Rape (you said it yourself)
    2. Not being able to give a kid a good life/mothers who dump their children
    3. A kid that will be born sick with no real chances to get better.
I guess you can disagree with that and you have every right to do so, but I strongly believe people should at least have a choice.I can't decide if people should do it or not, but they should at least have the chance do so (in a legal way). What's so wrong about letting people have a choice? (My whole problem with religion put in one example actually )

I live in Holland and it's not like every girl/woman here who get's prengnant while being irresponsible (as you put it) goes for an abortion because there is a choice.

If your claim that 'most of the abortions are not from irresponsible woman' is true then I think we need to find a way to change that sentence from 'most' to 'none'. If that was the case then i really wouldn't complain because the other scenarios you mentioned really are terrible and I can sympathise with individuals in that position. So I still think the laws could be tighter and I'm not interested in early or not that's still wrong in my view but yes the points you made could be taken into account.

  5. Just googled this. I think a "few" of these may have been out of convience. What about adoption

I don't agree with point 2 because adoption is always a better choice than death for the child. Points 1 and 3 seem reasonable but outwith that why should you have a choice? you don't have the choice to kill someone once theyre born.
  7. Maybe they'll bring Please back into set...

One correction: it was 53% of white women who voted for Trump. 54% of women in general voted for Hillary. So, for the majority of white women, what did they have to put first before incompetence, bigotry and misogyny? White anger? They hated Hillary's guts?
  9. This is revealing, and sad:
A 2010 study by Victoria L. Brescoll and Tyler G. Okimoto found that people’s views of a fictional male state senator did not change when they were told he was ambitious,” he wrote. “When told that a fictional female state senator was ambitious, however, men and women alike ‘experienced feelings of moral outrage,’ such as contempt, anger, and disgust.” The rage is more aggressive in men, but it’s there in women, too.

Trump said and did dozens and dozens (it's not hyperbole) of things that would have disqualified him for any public job. Nothing of that mattered, because when a woman is ambitious she's a "bitch", "over-prepared" and "needs to smile more"

But the child isn't born yet, so you aren't killing a child. But I don't think we will go on to agree about this haha.

I do try to see all sides in most arguments and actually enjoy debate and listening to all sides sometimes without even knowing what my own view is but this is a big one for me. However, I think your right we won't agree so should leave it at that. At least we have in common our passion for u2 lol.

Could explain certainly some of the reasons for preferring trump over Clinton although I'd like to hear from some female voters in person. I forgot to mention for certain areas the obvious divide of republican/democrat that some people don't see past regardless of who the candidate is.
