  4. Cheers guys, thanks for finding it a nice read. I was sweating and actually quite nervous about giving Edge that letter. He was so cool about it.

    I went to the amstel hotel on I think the 3rd day U2 played amsterdam.
    I'm not sure if it was the same day? If so you might be in my videos or pictures of that day, And I will try to look for you.

    I've met Bep in the past in Brussels too.
    Its funny how many faces you will remember allong the way
    And now we know you too! I'm extremely happy for you that you met Bono and Edge in amsterdam. They where so awesome and professional and relaxed when meeting their fans, even though they don't owe us any of their time outside stagetime.

    They are wonderfull people. And I have no doubt that Edge took the time to read your letter.

    Thanx, we were there before Amsterdam 2 gig, and the last gig in Amsterdam. I'd love to see some foto and video footage you made. Have send you a pm.

  9. Nice to read your story. I'm in the picture with you, standing next to your friend. I remember talking to you and your friend that day. The funniest thing happened the day after we met. Early in the morning, waiting for coffee at a terrace of a cafe near the Amstel, Bono suddenly walked by. I simply couldn't believe it was him.....my sister as alert as always stood up and asked him if she could take a picture of him and me.....he agreed...
    I tell you, this was the best unexpected moment of my life.....keep on cherishing the moment
