1. Zoo TV or Lovetown, and definitely the early days.

I missed Vertigo...but when I miss the next tour...I will be utterly devastated...
  3. For me:
Pop: I would have loved to have seen the giant lemon!!! Also Please to Where the Streets! Amazing!!!

Elevation: Post 911. I think back to my emotional state of mind and where I was at that time. I wish I realized how much U2 could have been there for me.
  4. POP Tour i wish i had seen the amazing design of the stage and the energy in that show was amazing

    The Giant yellow Arch!!
  6. I would have loved to have seen the band perform "A Sort of Homecoming."

    That, and ZooTV.
  7. I wish I could see 'Rattle and Hum' in a movie theatre back in 1988...
Regarding tours, it's Lovetown and the Zoo TV period that I wish to see the most. From Zoo TV, I would prefer the first two Wembley nights in 1993 (they played some parts of Zooropa, that would be priceless to see).
  8. I wish I attended that mythical Madrid 1987 concert as my father did. If not, Red Rocks, Denver 1987-11-08 or Sydney 93 would be OK
  9. I attended Joshua Tree, Zoo, Popmart, Elevation and Vertigo. So my pick would without a doubt be Lovetown. Then the Unforgettable Fire and War. Honestly, I dont think U2 were all that outstanding in the early days. Would have been interesting but Bono sounded awful back then as a vocalist IMO.

Indeed, I strongly agree with you - even though I'd kill for seeing one of that concerts full of energy and surprises...

Well, choosing 5 eras is NOT a bigg effort, is it?

PS. By the way, looking back to the topic's title, I wonder: how the hell can you witness AN ALBUM?!?!
