I don't think they are gonna fit in. If SOE is quite danceable we might even get some POP
  2. Just baffles me why they have decided to do this if they are on the verge of releasing new music... 'they want new material, you can't sell the same old stuff to the same old crowd forever'.

That being said, I'll still see a few shows, it's 11 songs so will hear at least 10 others (greatest hits) plus never seen many of the JT tracks live, only seen side 1, none from side 2.

Enjoy it, smell the flowers while you can. But some fans can be so negative and depressed about little petty stuff. I think JT is a great album, and if they find a way to do it i'm fine with that.
Couldn't agree more, the band have earned the right to do greatest hits shows for the rest of there careers if they wanted and they'd still sell out stadiums everywhere but theyre not even going to do that they just want to take a few months to celebrate an unbelievable album then follow it up with something that they can be proud of when it's ready.
  4. I'd say they were buying time, but they don't need to. They're more than happy to keep us waiting. That's quite well proven.

Cut to U2 in 2018: We're sorry it was overproduced
  5. Do you know when/where Adam said this? Or are you just going off the live versions? I much prefer the more melodic version he plays on tour

If I remember correctly he says it in the booklet in the TJT box.
  6. Really don't get the hate. I can't wait to see these shows. Wasn't alive in 1987 now i can see a recarnation of The Joshua Tree tour. Very excited.
  7. Be great if they did more kind of Love town tour shows........Best U2 shows i've seen

Yup. You know the songs are done and are just being mixed to all hell in a studio somewhere.
  9. Plus did they tease last year that they're more likely to tour again without an album?
