  2. I want to go to this so bad. Toronto is one week before my 30th birthday but I don't have anyone to go with...going to the concert alone is fine I guess but a whole trip that will cost nearly a grand alone...not sure.
  3. I'm SO excited about this tour - but also feel as a fan it's worth noting this may be the moment we look back as to when U2 transitioned into being a legacy act. Part of me thinks touring the Joshua Tree album again was less scary to their egos then releasing SOE and touring off of the success and relevance of THAT album. Again, I'm PSYCHED about this tour, I just think this is a major shift for them as a band.

    They way I see it is if U2 can sell out stadiums across the globe with a tour marketing a 30 year old product, it'll still make them the envy of every live act out there. Plus, I'm interested to see them present The Joshua Tree in a way that is fresh and relevant in 2017.
  9. So I just listened to Adam's interview. What I took from this was that their idea is to start the show off with a few songs, do The Joshua Tree and end with a look to where the future will take them. I'm cool with this and about to make a setlist based on what I think this means or might look like!

    I think the article with Edge basically admitted that without admitting it.

    But the content of the JT and it's meaning may, dare I say, be more relevant to the times now than it was in '87.

    I have no problems with the album concept show. I dont necessarily think it makes you a legacy act when you celebrate something like this. I might question the safeness of it, but at the same time, I welcome it with open arms and the same wide eyes I had the first time around in '87... better days. I'll be revelling in (I hate to say it... nostalgia)

    It's most likely that Dublin 2 will go on sale as Dublin 1 starts to sell out on the 17th so no pre sale
