  1. Reckon we'll get Shine Like Stars/Love Will Tear Us Apart at the end of WOWY?
  2. Some advice please...

So I am doing this for the first time, as an Aussie resident, will attempt to purchase tix for Rosebowl. Being overseas, particularly any LA locals, will I be able to 'Print-at-home' when purchasing or is there only 'International will call' on Ticketmaster website. Basically, what is my best international option given tix aren't posted overseas. TM just say 'Print-at-home if venue is equipped', I assume they are, just wanna check. Soz for dumb qtn. First time international.
  3. Bringing family to Dublin to see U2 in July.

Please assure me I will be able to get the needed 4 ordinary seated ticks in pre sale (Wired) for 22.7...

Also, anybody local, what's your opinion on the Fitzpatricks Castle accommodation in Kiliney (booked 5 nights) ?

    Thanks.

Nothing can be assured but your code can be used to try and make a purchase for the four tickets you require.
  5. Yeah. I'll be fine.
I don't suppose 50.000+ fan club members, all gunning for Croke...

  6. Yep for sure, but also, I would just add for me, there hasn't been a point in the last 30 years where JT, its songs, music and themes haven't been relevant.

I think apart from it's face value of sounding absolutely fantastic, one of the other reasons it is revered by so many is the deep spirituality present on it, but also it's absolute timelessness - which has got to be the holy grail if you're an artist I reckon.

I think there's a good chance JT will still be relevant in another 30 years time, and dare I say 300 years time.

It's flawless, even the cover and imagery are all masterpieces.

Fifth member 'passing through the room' when it was recorded and all that.

  7. They don't sell 50.000 tickets in presale, only a certain number of tickets are allocated for fanclub presale, so in fact it is possible a fanclub presale will be "sold out". But for most concerts there will be enough tickets in presale, I think Dublin will be the only city where you MAYBE can expect some problems because Dublin will have the highest demand of all cities.

I would look for accommodation in the centre instead of killiney. Then you'd be able to walk to croke park. Traffic and public transport is a joke with big events in croker.
  9. Hi Everyone

Sorry if I am behind the times here but will U2.com members get an email with their code and presale link before tomorrow and do we know what time the presale starts
    Many thanks

  10. anyone? I might not be able to enter the pre-sale after all (cc card is not validated for some security code stuff yet) and if cc is tied to the ticket I can't even ask for someone else to buy me tix tomorrow

Log into your U2.com account, visit your Account Info page and you should see your presales code on the left hand side (just under the sign in with Facebook stuff). It should tell you which presale group you are in with the code underneath.

I'm guessing there may be an email too with a presale link, but I wouldn't depend on one, or it arriving in good time.

As for start times, this is from U2.com...

Tickets on sale Monday, Jan. 16th (Europe) and Tuesday, Jan. 17th (North America). Presales this week.

    Wednesday, Jan. 11, 9am - Presales open
    Friday, Jan. 13, 5PM - Presales end
Monday, Jan. 16 & Tuesday Jan. 17 – Public on sale

    More details to come.
