1. Maybe the local residents have requested/demanded it in the hope it helps against the hassle from lots of people queueing right inf front of their doorsteps. Houses are literally next to the gates of Croke Park. In 2009 after the 360 shows the local residents even blocked the U2 trucks to leave to the next gigs.

    there'll be lots of early queueing regardless, I believe.

  4. I guess so, unless Police blocks the streets, and only residents can get in and out. It says on the TM site that queuing is forbidden ("No queuing will be permitted prior to gates opening." )

    Rubbish. Said that for Bruce too and there were grand well organised queues each day
  6. Was not at the Bruce concerts; was there (excessive) complaining from the residents and taking actions as it was with U2 in 2009?
