1. I'd love to see A Sort of Homecoming open the Dublin show(s). Nice intro, the song picks up and builds energy. Joshua Tree being played in full, written and recorded in and around Dublin.. It's the perfect song for it..

For tonight, at last I'm coming home.
    I'm coming home..
  2. Listening to the album again after the announcement and interviews, I just can't see many newer songs, or even much post 1990 making the setlist. The songs just don't fit with these 11, for me.
  3. I would love them to play "Walk to the water" that would be something..especially in Dublin

That's I'm hoping for... Boy through JT only.

An all-80s setlist would be a dream. I hope you're right.
  6. Here's hoping for Van Diemen's Land
  7. I find it funny how people weren't into this tour at first. Saying they really were a nostalgia act now and whatever. Now people want a very nostalgic set list.

I don't care really. I'm a fan of all of their work. I am curious to see how they will set it up though.

    .............

Nothing funny about that. I still think it's a shame this is a tour just to cover up procrastination, but hey, 'if you're gonna do it, do it right' ........ and that is the complete setlist form before 1990. There's simply no Other way.
  9. I'm looking forward to (the potential of) this tour more than any other U2 tour I've had the privilege to see
  10. Joshua Tree is eleven songs. Add another 12 for an average setlist. Taking into consideration that we're in a stadium show U2 will blend a number of massive hits into the setlist along with one or two dark horses.
    We'll see
  11. Sorry. No. Love those songs, but to stay true to JT concept, can't play anything post 1987...
