It's funny how much opinions differ - with the obvious exception of Boots, those two are my probably my least favorite on the album.

It is a pretty weird song for U2 though, I can understand that it might not appeal all around.

Sorry CMIPalaeo, didn't mean to hurt anyone. I tried to like it, but just couldn't get there.

Tough one because I don't find many U2 tracks to be skippable.... However if i have to chose the worst ones it'd be between the following:

One Step Closer
White as Snow
Shadows and Tall Trees
ferrari

I would not say that Pride is U2's worst song, only overplayed and to much heard on the radio. I usually skip Pride. Hearing Pride live is however another dimension.

"Pride" has some of the finest and most innovative rhythm guitar playing ever recorded. Never get tired of that. On the last tour, it has been great live. Since ZooTv I got a bit tired of hearing it live (and I have a feeling the band had gotten tired of it, too), but on I&E it has been very powerful and uplifting again.

Another Day is fucking awful. Quite possibly their worst. And if you say "they were learning their craft", they produced a masterpiece in Boy at the age of 20.

They had much better stuff at the time - Life On a Distant Planet, for example, is MILES better than just about anything pre-Boy except 11 O'Clock Tick Tock.
