Joshua Tree Tour 2017

Shows: 52
  1. Grace is the name of a girl

That's all I have to say
  2. Grace is another song that gets unfair criticism in my eyes. I think it's not 'cool' enough for some people but it's a nice little song. I like the way his voice changes form verse into chorus. Not saying it's a u2 classic by any means but it's a decent song.

I'd actually argue that there IS a certain atmosphere/vibe to the latter half of the album, but it's not as tangible. There's something about the collection of songs AFTER Wild Honey that bring me somewhere specific. I think it's because I remember listening to it while being on a plane slowly descending into a rainy Toronto day. I don't know, it's very melancholy but very hopeful, and I dig it.

    Love love love New York.

Yeah I agree actually about what your saying with the atmosphere at the end of the album. I guess what I meant to say was the atmosphere on the JT and AB is more suitable to the live environment, but I really enjoy the tracks regardless and likewise New York is a track I love, it was probably one of or maybe the stand out on the elevation tour for me.
  4. I want 30th anniversary tour in 2025 for Passengers' Original Soundtracks 1 and make Original Soundtracks 2. Really want to see them play Slug

Yeah. I wanna see Larry give in and agree to that one...
  6. As much as I love ATYCLB, I don't think it would be a good idea to do an ATYCLB nostalgia tour featuring every song on the album played live. If I want to relive ATYCLB, I'd want to be able to experience the energy of the Elevation Tour, which benefited from very strong performances, but not necessarily from ATYCLB as an album. ATYCLB is a great album, but doesn't really warrant a nostalgia tour like JT or even AB does. I would say that Pop deserves to get a nostalgia tour, but remember the band commemorated Pop by vaguely referring to it in one interview.

And for the 20th anniversary of Pop we got... a t-shirt!
  8. Did we get a t-shirt? Or did U2start release a t-shirt in an attempt to get U2.com to remember that Pop exists?
