    Yeah I guess I have come a long way around agreeing with you, I think it was the wording of calling the tour 'the perfect excuse' that made me see that as a negative view of it when yes the reality of it is the delay of SOE has presented this opportunity. I think that still makes my statement earlier true that people are using the frustration of SOE not being ready to criticise the tour.

    Agreed on that too. I guess this frustration is something that fans need to pour out one way or another, and The Joshua Tree Tour was a good target this time (other targets from the past have been Bono's philantropic activities, Larry's acting, the band's tendency to procrastinate, Edge's perfectionism, Bono's bike accident, etc)

  4. Isn't anyone thinking the same as I do, that they weren't done with SOE but had agreed to tour this spring/summer? So it came in handy that it's the anniversary of The Joshua Tree.

    Yes, and it's funny because the Achtung Baby anniversary will come in handy for the next album delay too going on the timescale. All good with me though.
