  1. 99% sure they will release this year from what I was told around the beginning of the 4rth qtr
  2. So a release maybe in october, and U2 hopes that the JT oldies will buy it blindly. According to You’re The Best Thing (About Me) this can be true. This wasn't anything great.

    This is supposed to be a much better album than SOI. I was told it has a much fresher sounds and 2 singles that they expect to chart. The singles won't have the throwback sound but not like Get on your boots. Also they did a collaboration but it could end up as a remix.
  5. If this is true, it would appear that the album is done and they are holding it until a good time for release.
  6. No they were still working on about 4 songs that were close to completion. The rest of the album was done in late November
  7. Maybe I'm a bit too negative. I'm looking forward to the new album, and the new tour in a about a month.

  12. But wait. A reliable source said they planned on taking JT tour to South America in the fall. How could they possibly release SOE while they are still touring JT. Bad timing. I mean, are we going to question the validity of that reliable source???
