    As previously suggested, I think we should nominate users for several of these to give them a chance to "campaign"...it would be hilarious to watch 3 different users duke it out to win Prom King / Prom Queen / Some of the more general awards.

    If we nominate people for every category, however, it may be too indicative of voting and defeat the purpose. I propose that we leave most categories without nominations (Best Thread, Bob Award, etc)

    Which categories do you think we should nominate users for?

  7. Complete freedom would probably be the best. I'm sure that however nominations are decided, someone will be missed off or someone will want to vote for someone else.
  8. Yes, of course, if we eventually do nominations anyone should still be able to vote for whoever they like (nominated or not). I understand nominations as "suggestions" and not as "restrictions".
  9. The standard list provided last time covers most things. Newcomers can be defined by joining in the last year with a post count above x.

    The only category I would like to add is what Sergio called I think "Sons of the Disappeared" or something like that.
    We have lost many great people recently. They deserve at least a mention. I hope they return for the next tour.
