I don't understand all the Sweetest thing hate. Imo the best JT b-side is still the original Sweetest Thing.

Not the best, but a nice song! Doesnt deserve the hate.

I agree. I love the Sweetest Thing melody. I understand why U2 chose to release it as an a-side.

Nothing wrong with the song, but it was so over-played in the latest tour, it left a bitter taste in my mouth.

10 times in the last leg, on a slot that was supposed to be for variation but the band stuck to Elevation/Sweetest Thing, Desire/AOH too many times.

16 times too many perhaps? Well it's all a matter of opinion but they played it at a show I was at (1st night in Glasgow) and it's the lowlight of any u2 gig I've been too.
