Anyway, Vancouver being the opening night was bound to have crazy queues, but I bet it's more relaxed in future shows. There will always be a core of 10-50 fans who will queue overnight but in the big scheme I think it should be feasible to get good GA sposts without spending too much time in the Q.

The way U2 have set this up there is absolutely no need to. Back on the original JT tour, it was a different story, a free for all once gates opened to floor. But now they have it almost down to a science...

We were then told to sit down (really true!) on the field to wait quietly for the support act..... This workes for about 20 minutes and then people suddenly got up from the ground and ran to the front (no divided spaces on the field or 'red zones' or anything back in those days) We almost got squashed, but ended up about 5 or 6 'rows' from the stage.
