1. I wouldn't take any of these for granted.

    Sadly.
  2. Perhaps in 2023/2024: The War & UF 40 year anniversary tour...

I wouldn't spoil the party, but this tour is about playing the Joshua Tree in its entirety. They will not dress that up with more obscurities.
I think UV and ASOH is already pushing it. With NYD and an occasional Bad + 1 or 2 (o r3?) new songs we should consider us extremely lucky.
Nevermind the Elevations, COBL's and BD's...

BTW: shouldn't be a "special" Ordinary Love also?
  3. They did something like that with Unknown Caller right? With people singing the song?
  4. Hey guys, Elevation is just to throw us off the scent. Here's the REAL encore (I heard this from a reputable source)...

    Vertigo
    Womanfish
    Lucille
    (fan onstage bit)
Stuck In a Moment (acoustic, non-piano)
    Vertigo

    Spoiler (click to toggle)
My source also mentioned when U2 will be going to South America, so you know you can trust them.

  5. No way, I never signed up to that lol.

It would be so cool if Lucille made setlist !!
  7. I'll take elevation at every second night (since I'm going to the 1st night at Twickenham).
  8. I actually would love to hear Lucille, that would be SUCH a bone thrown to the super-hardcore fans. Additionally, I do really want to hear Vertigo. If they have to play a 'get the stadium pumped up with a radio rocker' make it Vertigo and not Elevation. Vertigo is MUCH better-known, and much better. Vertigo is at least reminiscent of their early work and where they came from, that kind of 'punk rock from Venus' thing, whereas Elevation is just... not. Elevation isn't BAD really (the IHeart Radio show had a very strong Elevation), it's just sooo tired out and would feel weird with this set. Vertigo, to me at least, never sounds tired and always gets the crowd going crazy, AND if it's paired up with something from Boy (I've always really liked Vertigo and IWF together) it'd sound perfectly at home.

    Just my two pennies.
