  3. Of all the songs they could choose, it's Elevation. It's gonna look great with a Joshua Tree backdrop.
  4. What about, An Cat Dubh.... or Rejoice amazing intro by The Edge. Heartland, Love Comes Tumbling, Dirty Day, EBW, Walk On, Acrobat, Ordinary Love etc. It's just a dream. But playing ASOH is kind of a dream.
  5. I have burnout with Vertigo, but I liked it, so I like it live. I think it has a much better lyric than Elevation (The boys can't dance and Jesus around her neck lines and referenced to the beats are pretty aware and, I think, solid).

    There's a difference between a good song that has been burned out (Vertigo) and a song that always struck you as blah and now is both boring and overplayed (Elevation for me). I can definitely get up with Vertigo if I had to choose of the overplayed warhorses...

    All would be nice but I'll keep saying it: They can play whatever the hell they want as long as they (please) play ASOH, NYD, and the full JT.

    ...and don't go wimping out on that last one!

    In terms of the setlist, Williams teases that U2 won’t just stick to Joshua Tree material. “[The album] is barely an hour long, of course, and the show is twice that length, so it has been a delightful challenge to figure out a setlist that provides a setting for the jewel without being predictable,” he says. “In the end, we’ve arrived at a show that pretty much comprises Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, and Something Blue. Well, actually not that much Blues, to be honest.”

    I just believe there are many other post JT songs that would work well in this set. Something from Pop would be nice, but I also think Walk On would be a nice fit in the encore
