  1. What do you all think of Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe being snippeted in Exit?
  2. Not my favorite part. I don't want to compare the JT Tour 2017 with 1987, other time and ages.

    But Gloria is a way way better snippet.
  3. I really like it, and think it fits well. Don't get me wrong I love Gloria in Exit, it was great in 1987/1989, but that was then, this is now, and it's apparent they're working from the album itself and trying to replicate the songs on the album rather than replicate the 1987 live versions.

    I kinda feel that the Eeny Meeny snippet is a take on the random selection of targets by lunatics with guns, maybe I'm off the mark there but that's my take on it right now, and I feel it fits the theme of the song and the bands anti-gun stance perfectly.

    He carries off the deranged preacher persona (and look) frighteningly well I reckon (which makes me think he would have made a badass actor in another lifetime). It's great to see him slipping into a character on stage again, with all the lunging and flailing arms. It's all very well choreographed, and the camera work and effects on the screen seem exceptionally well polished, I reckon they probably spent quite a bit of time on this prior to the Vancouver rehearsal sessions, as I've no doubt they probably realised that its the song most people were really keen to hear. For me it really didn't disappoint.
  4. I like it, my take on it is it could be aimed at Trump bearing in mind the film at the beginning of exit. I think it's about selecting who can come in and out of countries, and to go further maybe a judgement on individuals of different backgrounds or whatever by the likes of trump. Is it not also a song that was used racially when the tigger part was replaced with the n word? All these things I think are in bono's mind and I think exit, the snippet and visuals are so powerful especially with this sort of character Bono is becoming when he sings it.
  5. Just been looking at what Daniel Lanois is up to this summer. He's touring but seems there is a gap in his schedule when U2 hit Toronto, in fact, pretty much most of June - so wonder if he could make a guest appearance on ISHFWILF...
