Yeah, the prices suck, promoters suck etc etc - but that's unfortunately the way things've changed. Sure, 12.50'd be nice to get in for a 2-hour show or whatever it is, but long as certain characters run the show - this is how it goes.
  3. Regarding ticket prices i actually have no problem paying £70-£80 for a standing ticket. I don't think it's a ridiculous sum of money for what entertainment we get back in return. It takes me about 9 hours work to earn that and I don't work half as hard as u2 do putting on a show. I know that because i expended far more energy when I played in a band doing weddings, party's etc than I do in my job.
  4. Any sound check news?

  5. The next day, at Santa Clara's city council:

Hmmmm. And I'd say the cheap GA seats are the best seats in the house. All a matter of perspective, I guess. And I've sat in just about every price tier over the years...
  7. I still dont get how a stadium could have a 10pm curfew. Mind boggling...
  8. If we can make predictions for tonight's show based on setlists so far, I'd say setlist as Vancouver + I Will Follow (no Bad).
  9. Sounds about right to me.
