1. Just spied a certain Larry Mullen Junior in the crowd at the Ireland-Wales game. Looking cool.

Tut tut Phillips there. Sin binned and rightly so
  2. A fairly earned triple crown for Wales it is then. Another great performance. Special kudos to Williams and Byrne. Both outstanding. Apart from those 2 (dirty) sin bin offences they were brilliant. Another fustrating Irish perfrormance, they never looked like they were ever gonna get anywhere when in possession. I just hope we beat the English. Well done Wales

I missed it ( out on a calving) but heard bits on the radio. Certainly sounds like the better game of the day.

I'll catch up with it on iPlayer tomorrow. Don't like the sound of the sin-binnings; Gatland will sort them out.

    Yay to Scotland too!!!

Cheap but not dirty. There was nothing malicious about them. Martyn Willaims's trip off the ball- stupid but it wasn't worthy of a yellow card, wouldn't have impacted the game or even hurt the player in question.

Mike Phillips knee drop, well the irish player should have released the ball which is a penalty in itself. Again a harsh decision. The dirtiest tackle of the game was committed by Jackman on Ryan Jones. Jones was trapped in a ruck couldn't roll away, had his hands in the air saying I have no intention of getting in the way, Im stuck and Jackman comes in with a hit to jones's back. No need for that as jones was no where near where the ball was coming out of the ruck. That should have been a sin binning.
  5. Well that was depressing . well done Scotland, you adapted to the weather, kept the ball and simply deserved to win. Congratulations to Wales as well, showing class to beat Ireland away and set up a thrilling encounter with France.

    p.s. Worcester 23 - Leicester 19

a knee in the kidney region is fairly dodgy by my reckoning. The trip was a blatant professional foul and hindered what would have been a try scoring oppurtunity

i'll agree with that. That tackle came after my original comment but it was such a stupid and dangerous tackle to make. Ireland could have mounted a last ditch attack from there and that tit bit went and done that. Idiot
  8. The rules state that trips should be treated with a card, though it seems to be down to the ref's opinion of the incident what colour. A few years back in the H-cup, Betsen was sent off for tripping Stuart Abbot, who had his leg broken.

there was no intent to hurt in the trip but Ireland had a good attacking move on at the time. Just a blatant obstruction but sure, thats sport and Ireland didn't capitalize with the extra man they had.
  10. Today's the day then. Come on Wales
