Tour: Joshua Tree Tour 2017
Songs played: 20

  1. Acrobat should always be a safe bet, right?
  2. Man I am finding myself missing even IE Bono..... I just feel sad seeing that kind of decline.
  3. He's not singing that badly from the last tour is he? I can't really notice besides the key change in Nyd
  4. Yeah, Bono seemed a little off during Vertigo, but looking at the rest of the performance and even looking at all the performances on the JT Tour thus far I have to say the band is on fire and Bono is in stronger form than perhaps he was during IE. The key change in NYD is brilliant because it puts the song into a range where Bono currently displays much more strength. I'd rather hear that than Bono struggling to reach notes.

Its interesting..... its like he can do the older stuff waaaaay better than the 2000s stuff now. It just doesnt sound good with that raw sort of shout sings he could pull off a few years ago.

I agree with the key change. Its not like he cant sing at all, its just a certain type of range.
  6. I dunno I think its in tracks like BD and Vertigo... buts its hard to tell with the crap quality. The stuff on yotube from Chicago was decent. I think its these high energy type rockers that arnt doing him justice anymore. Mich better on lower tracks.

I thought that too, Vertigo sounded off but pride vocally was amazing!
  8. I don't think Bono is singing badly , he's just gone for a calmer style and is trying to ballad the songs more . E.g. Ultraviolet- a lot of the vocal energy has been scaled back and he's crooning it more .
  9. Yeah Pride has been great since IE. and the first oart of little things plays well to his current voice. Also IGC Trip and Trip sound great.

Yeah we need an IEM recording
  11. I know people hate Elevation and I know I love Elevation, but the performances of Elevation this tour have been phenomenal. Beautiful Day is suffering from misdirected vision. I wish they kept it simple like Elevation. They already had broadcasts from the International Space Station. You can't beat that with a technicolor backdrop and digitized vocals.

  12. Maybe a risk isn't the right term but you couldn't call it safe either as a lot of the fans wouldn't have known any of the non singles so that's 6 or 7 JT tracks depending on if you count one tree hill as a single and ultraviolet.
