    I can't believe that half of the GA is empty.. I simply can't..

    And it's London... So many fans out there.. What happened..? Anyway, I will enjoy all my July concerts.. That's for sure..

    It could be they only sold a certain amount of tickets to prevent over-crowding and even a tragedy. Still, seems like they could sell more tickets with plenty of room to spare.

    It's a health and safety thing, they won't allow it to be overcrowded, been that way anytime I've seen the band in Glasgow when GA was also sold out. Im sure British laws are different to other places in Europe though Brussels in 2010 seemed so much more packed.
  4. GA has been way more packed in the same venues for other gigs. Must be a U2 thing.
  5. I.e. Tour they let way too many into GA in Paris , it was dangerously overcrowded , watch the DVD , its sardines in a can .
  6. They will have chosen Twickenham for a reason : Twickenham has 82,000 seats + 28,000 standing on the floor witha concert maximum of 110,000

    Wembley has 90,000 seats (15,000 unused for concerts) + 23,000 standing capacity.

    Wembley's biggest draw is 98,000 for concerts. Twickenham around 110,000. It comes down to numbers and sales.
  7. 82,000 in the round, yes. The entire South Stand was unused at Twickenham.

    Attendance would've been similar to 2005.

    Twickenham got 110,000 in 2005.........over two sold out shows.
  9. Nah, 54k at Twickenham each night. One of the stewards showed me his schedule which had all info on it like attendance, timings, etc

  11. Are you sure your not looking at total figure on Wikipedia? The page I looked at which is from the vertigo tour says over 110000 for 2 nights which would be about right.
