    Nice to see someone who knows about it...I thought it's easier to say it that way than try to explain it. And what is wrong with calling it an event...could be considered bigger than a simple event tho...but

    OK, I just saw the bold part...before that I thought you're considering it smaller than a event...
    Consider my use of "event" a result of my small English vocabulary...couldn't think of a better word to describe it so shortly

    I perfectly understood what you meant to say. It just sounded so cool. If you think about all the controverses about the ummah in the "western" world a muslim comes up calling Muhammad treck to Yathrib just an event.

    In short: People are afraid that islamic fundamentalists wanna conquer the world, apply the Shariah and oppress the "dhimmis". Actually since 9/11 there's some islamophobia going on.
    That's what ignorance does with people..

    Casper, you'll have a great time. I have been lucky enough to see u2 3d twice already, each time leaving me more obsessed with the band I walked in. I didn't think that was possible

    A little down now, you get to see U23D?!? i am so jealous, i dont know when its going to be released here in NZ, but i know its coming!.. but i envy you incredibley! (is that spelt right?)
    One day i'll see it, you have to share everything k?
    In less then 24hrs though i'll be on a plane back home, i havent been home in a month and its time for my midsemester break so im really excited about that! Yah!

    That's exactly what came to my mind as I was reading the "in short" part.
    Great to see someone so informed, and so rational about it

    Aaah, we might be able to continue this some other time, but right now it's bed time for me...gotta wake up in 6 hours and get ready for the new year (BTW, it doesn't start on midnight like you guys, it's got some astronomical calculation - I think - , this year it's gonna be 9:18 and 19 seconds )
