1. Does anyone know the model of guitar Bono played during EXIT on the joshua tree tour. It's a black electric, and I'm sure it's a telecaster. It's some kind of custom with a black head and neck (unusual) and 2 double humbucker pick-ups. Pretty sure it hasa tremelo arm. Now, the Telcaster delux has a stratocaster head so I'm sure it's not that. It's not the guitar from rattle and hum. Used on the Eurpean shows.

    Any ides?
  2. Thanks, but they have missed the one in question. Thanks again though!
  3. Bono used his his red Gibson ES335 for EXIT in R&H.

BUT... you can see Bono using a black Tele style guitar in the Paris 1987 bonus DVD, with the black painted headstock. That guitar was made be Danvel/Nelson.

Edge has also had work on his guitars; Edge had a Danvel/Nelson Strat style guitar (can be seen in R&H suring "...Streets...")

    Cheers!

    PS -
http://bono-equipment.tripod.com/id9.html has some incorrect info. bono-equipment site was the proto-type to what later became

    Invalid url 'http://u2-atomic-bono-gear. tripod.com'

    (information that has been corrected.)

How do I know that? Both are sites that I made.

  8. Yep, the U2 Atomic sites are mine. I still have TONS of work to do. But it's good fun researching all of it.

    http://U2-atomic.tripod.com - General U2 stuff.
    http://U2-atomic-adam-gear.tripod.com - Adam Gear
    http://U2-atomic-bono-gear.tripod.com - Bono Gear
    http://U2-atomic-edge-gear.tripod.com - Edge Gear
    http://U2-atomic-larry-gear.tripod.com - Larry Gear

I need to consolidate it all on to ONE site! Did I mention, I'm CHEAP! But yeah, I will have to pay a few $$$ and buy some space to consolidate the stuff.
