  1. Very dissapointed at the setlist this eve.....I think we have to accept for U2 this was just another gig. When I was at Croke park in 1985 and 1987 you could tell it meant so much to them to be playing in their hometown alas not this evening....They could have come on earlier and done a few more songs and no ASOH pretty Bad that haha
  2. Yeah bit disappointed. Anyone of these shows is still a great show in its own right, but in terms of a tour the lack of nightly variety is hugely disappointing.
  3. Looking forward to this post show chat.

it's the first time they only did one show in Dublin since 1985, for me that's the most surprising bit. Setlists in Dublin have always been pretty standard I think, except from Dublin 3 in 2005. Slane 1 was also different, but also very short.

Maybe they come home and they see all the graffiti about "tax evaders", and all the backlash at home, they now see this as just another show.

Just to follow up on what your saying, when is the last time the bands best tour show was in Ireland? Obviously opinions only but I can't remember many people saying any I&E, 360 or vertigo tour show was the best of the tour. I think Slane is the last particularly special show they've had in Ireland (every u2 show is somewhat special hence the use of the word particularly).

    Possibly.
  8. Actually, I think Dublin 3 of the I+E tour was the absolute best, although the other 3 shows were mediocre.
  9. Remy not impressed with America snippet either

I absolutely agree on IE I hated the 3Arena was too full. London was so much better and twickenham on this tour was better. And for the others was lucky enough to see them in Canada and America again seemed were much better.
