Tour: Joshua Tree Tour 2017
Songs played: 23
Audio recordings: 4

  1. 3.50 on the pitch for a small/medium. 5.30 I think for a large from the beer desks at the back and side seats of GA.

They would be easy songs to replace though with older classics. I think as long as they're playing plenty of the album there touring it doesn't matter what era the rest of the songs come from. I'd rather hear zoo station, the fly and even better than the real thing.
  3. Is that with the plastic JT cup ?
  4. Thank you :-)
  5. Bloody setlist moaners... it's a great show with a great encore.

I remember walking out Zoo Tv after Pride knowing that the same setlist was coming up... same old 4 songs for over a year.

I'm not unhappy with the setlist just think it could be better. The 4 songs they finished with back then (desire, Ultraviolet, WOWY and love is blindness) are so much better than vertigo, beautiful day, elevation and you could throw Miss Sarajevo in there too, well in my opinion. It doesn't mean there not putting on a great show, London 1 was my favourite ever gig, but I could think of at least 20 u2 songs I could pick in there places.
  7. The back catalogue is so vast and plenty of quality to choose from so it's impossible to get it right for everyone .
The only criticism could be should there be more variation / rotation ? Easier said than done when it all has to fit into the visuals etc .
  8. Decided to go again tonight!

Three times U2 in three days Hope they play bad again! And the little things!
  9. ASOH and little things tonight I would guess , maybe IWF

I agree that's why even though I've got my preferences I can't really complain about the songs mentioned above because a lot of people do love them. As for variation in theory that would be good but what if they replaced they songs with songs you didn't like as much? They could play the sweetest thing and when love comes to town and I'd be less happy than with what we've got now. Impossible job as you say.
