  1. OMG... I seriously thought my 2005 Boston december shows could never be matched...
    But last night was just THAT good

    And even though it was not a 10/10 performance, it was just perfect in terms of energy and band-crowd dynamics & interaction.
    Outside the rain must have gone down like mad, but thanks to the roof this was just one hell of an indoor show!
    OK, my spot was just perfect: 3 rows from the b-/tree stage, but on the inside and like 5 or 6 deep from the catwalk. Just dead center "Larry-side" and right in the middle of the screen. It was surreal. It was just sick And it felt like being in the mosh pitt "bombshelter" [2005, Vertigo tour] all over again

    Forget setlists...if you haven't been to one of these JT shows you're completely missing the point. After the Joshua Tree section has finished you are soaking wet from sweat and tears. So powerfull. So emotional.
    Before last night I really thought Miss Sarajevo would be lame to start the encore but, seriously, one really needs some time for some air (and blow up those balloons ) before entering Beautiful Day up to Vertigo/Rebel Rebel via Ultra Violet... Woow... that's it man! ...this is how it has to be done...not much room for change on this one. It just can't It's like a total blackout...

    Ending with One was just so beautiful and so perfect. I just stood with my back to band because all I could do was stare in awe and wonder to all those cellphone lights all over the stadium ...just. WOOW

    So I just totally rocked out from New Year's Day to Exit and standing with my hands in the air during Mother's Of The Disappeared while tears just streaming from my eyes belting my heart out... Like I said, Miss Sarajevo was just bliss

    Yes, the Corbijn footage was brilliant
    Yes, Bad/Heroes was insane (best Bad I ever attended )

    Yes. You gotta feel this one folks..or just go home

    Man!

    What time did you arrived in the GA-line for that spot?

  4. I think you're right. Let's hope and see. BD ELEV VERT most people like so that's the way it is. I prefer also Desire, IWF, OOC or 40. But we don't get it. It was a top show yesterday. Especially when you are in front near the stage.

    I hope to have a spot in Brussels within the first 3-4 rows on the top of the Tree-stage, but that should be ok I guess by arriving around 10AM

  9. The fans that were lucky enough to attend the video shoot in Westergasfabriek, are not the only ones in Amsterdam the hear new songs. Wilbert Mutsaers (Head NL of Spotify) reports about a listening session yesterday before the concert. With Bono, Adam & Edge commenting

It doesn't mean there not putting on a great show, London 1 was my favourite ever gig, but I could think of at least 20 u2 songs I could pick in there places.
    UV ,love is blindness don't get a whole stadium rocking Elevation and Vertigo in the two shows I saw this tour had the whole place on their feet singing and dancing along and surprisingly got the biggest reactions from the crowd.
  11. Note: They were very strict on bags and cameras. Way more strict than in London.

    No rucksacks (I had to put mine in a locker, others were being thrown away, even small ones like mine).

    I then went back and they then rejected my camera too, which although big, does not have a detachable lens (which I thought was rule). They insisted I went back to get another locker. By this time the rain was torrential.

    After hanging about a bit inside I went through another line and they had no problem with the camera so it appears to be pot luck.

    London/UK has had more than it's fair share of problems but security seemed more sensible there.
