    Little Rhings :-)
  3. One fell flat on its arse as the closer, has done for a long time. Terrible way to close a show.
  4. I loved it in Glasgow last tour. Although that was my first U2 gig... they could have read the contents of a Shredded Wheat packet and i'd have lost my mind!
  5. The Dutch did it.

  6. I plead the fifth
  7. Yeah, that was nice!
The Dutch U2 Fanclub was handing out envelopes with the balloons and instructions while queuing up. Security got wind of it and was searching and frisking for it while people started entering the stadium. Many envelopes ended up in the garbage containers.
Got mine in though, but I found it rather difficult blowing them up in a crowded space near the B-stage.
    Bono's reaction was priceless!

    My vid from that night.
  8. Especially in the mosh pitt... It just was THEE best...just like being there back in 1987

Perhaps Amsterdam 2 wasn't as electric as night 1, but I think U2 just peaked. A Sort Of Homecoming was magic, and so was Streets. Infact the entire side one was magic
Too many highlights to name them all, but from all the snippets the Jean Genie in Vertigo certainly was the bomb

    ...to be continued
  9. my 5 cents on saturday evening, that was most of the show absolutley boring. no emotion at all. very sad to say that after 20years in the u2 concert business.
    looking foreward to i&e pt.2
