I Will Follow was great, a lot of energy in it. Great way to close the show
  3. Great way to finish a show! you know what would be even better, UTEOTW, haha as a closer?

Same here...watched I Will Follow already 5 times and Exit also.
    Really great performance.
The balloons, brrrr, goose-bumbs, also with the harmonica a couple of time.....
I saw big big guys even with tears with the audience singing

I thought the (over)use of cellphones taking pictures and stuff was not too bad last weekend. It didn't annoy me so much.

  6. They are still in Amsterdam. Almost 2pm.
  7. cool plane,
How do you guys feel about private planes and rock

i have had conversations with people who have the view that someone like Bono who is always talking about poverty and helping the poor should not be living so high.

i'm on the fence about it really,

I think Bono's campaigns are more about raising awareness than actually giving his wealth. Given the money they spend on properties in France, Ireland, America, as well as a whole host of failed business ventures, I can't see them doing the tour circuit on a bus to save abit of money.
  9. Its not Bono's plane, but the plane from the company U2.
  10. They just charter it. GnR used the same plane.

Not as brilliant as your username though

Perhaps Amsterdam 2 wasn't as electric as night 1, but I think U2 just peaked. A Sort Of Homecoming was magic, and so was Streets. Infact the entire side one was magic
Too many highlights to name them all, but from all the snippets the Jean Genie in Vertigo certainly was the bomb

    ...to be continued

Yes, I agree with you, too many highlights. First time ASOH, yesterday and also saturday, Streets, Bullet, Running so amazing. Close with IWF surprised the whole stadium maybe. Exit on saturday, amazing. Yes what a song. They have to play it every tour. The balloons where magic. Stand by me on ISHFWILF brings me back to 1987.
But standing GA near the stage is more intense. Sometimes you feel a part of the whole thing. More than sitting 2nd level ofcourse but had a good view yesterday overall and happy I was there though. What a 3 f.....evenings/nights. And to see the plane today driving off work makes it complete. Until the next tour. But first the new album and u2.com gift.
