Exactly. It's not like "our tour sub-manager couldn't make it today, excuse him"... It's Dave, it's a 25% of the band. Theycouldshould have postponed the photoshoot until he would make it. It sounded like bullshit and still does. Anyway, I'm excited as usual for their new material, and if they come around I'll go and see them of course (unless they only do a couple of expensive summer festivals as usual).

It's hard to put into words, but there's just something about The Killers that screams "could have been", you know? I love them and their output, but it just seems like there was SO much potential early in their career, and through little moves like this that speak louder than words, their commitment to get to that place U2 were able to in the 80s somehow faded over the course of the 2000s.
