    I guess I'm in the minority in that I loved that Kygo remix

    And usually I hate dancey/EDM stuff. I just thought it was super catchy and I loved the vocal on it.

    Your in the minority with me then, (not that I'm saying that lessens the blow lol). I'm not big on EDM either but I think it can be good when combined with a rock type band.

    I also loved it. If the apparent Steve Lillywhite mix is what ends up on SOE, I hope the Kygo remix sees an official release, too.

    Gonna go ahead and throw my hat in with these guys. I loved the song and the Kygo mix. Is it anything more than a simple, fun song? No. But it doesn't have to be either.

Sounds a bit like a demo of "A sort of homecoming" will be interesting to hear the complete song ,you get the feeling that with this next album that's it do or die for U2 the last 2 albums failed to capture the publics imagination the latter annoyed the geeks on Twitter and none of the songs got much airplay if any ,if its loaded with radio friendly hits like Atomic bomb it will annoy some of the hardcore who want U2 to be like Radiohead ,however Bono particularly wants big songs ,airplay and hits, not many bands /artists in their 50s have hit albums let alone singles I can't think of any bar a few one offs like Macca who needed Kanye and Rhianna for the kids to take notice, U2 will need to do something similar if they wanna have a hit no matter how good the songs you will still get a huge amount of resistance to play them (Ageism)hence why they did the Apple stunt .Wouldn't be surprised if they have somebody lined up to sing with on "The best thing "as long as its not Bieber

  11. A year ago I said that The Best Thing is Coldplay played by U2. Now I think they should release it, divide the fanbase and make a hit single that will last forever. It's the last minute call for this song to fight for top of the tops. Two weeks ahead and it will feel old. I's now or never, guys!!
