    To be fair, they take a lot of years per album, so he could be talking about the best between SOI and SOE only.

    The comment was not about albums the Stones have done, it is simply that they have the reputation. After turning 50, they have 3 albums of original material, a covers album, which I hope U2 never, ever considers, some tracks lost on hits collections, and ten billion live albums. After U2's average age being over 50, they have 1 album released. I hope they can keep writing, and releasing albums, but no big deal if they don't. Awesome career, much accomplished.

    I wish they would simply fill the stadiums, even if it means cheap seats behind the stage for $10. At the 3 shows I saw this year, the stadiums were not filled like 360, and Guns N Roses have actually made more this year. Even a bunch of $25 seats in the upper deck would give them more bodies in the stadium. The $50 parking in Miami has me convinced I will never spend another penny in that town. I parked 2 miles away and walked it and toughed it out in a somewhat scary neighborhood lol.

    They had the promise of a never-before-seen stage on 360. You were paying just to be in its presence as much as you were paying to see U2.

    I also feel like it was way better advertised, what with the blackberry commercials and all that at the time.

    360 wasn't expensive... Not talking about 200 and more euro(dollars/pounds) seats - those were on all tours. But GA was for 55-65 euro (Germany cca 70) and there were always seats for 30 euro and seats with GA price.
    Been to both shows in Barcelona - first night GA (55 euro?) and second night 30euro seats with pretty good view...
  7. We're all super U2 fans here.i don't think we'll stop in front of an expensive ticket.even if sometimes they are really expensive.i make My selection of concerts through the year.you Know.if you Got family you Got to be quote and not spread money everywhere.
    Consider it an extraordinay day when U2 will Return.so i keep My money away

    Thousands fled Croker when U2 played this unknown track as an encore. You should have stayed for this piano-led tune. Edge’s guitar makes this a U2 classic.

    Much More Better
    Back on your bike Bono. I’m moved by this deeply-personal acoustic track about Bono’s recovery from his bike tumble in New York’s Central Park in 2014.

    The Showman
    Bono channels The Beatles circa their Rubber Soul era in a song he stresses is about other singers. I love the lyrics: “The showman give you front row to his heart / The shaman prays that his heartache will chart / Making a spectacle of falling apart is the heart of the show.”

    Summer of Love
    U2 always had real tunes. Bono described this as “achingly beautiful and empty”. I agree.
