1. Just found this in another forum.

CLICK HERE to watch an awesome in-studio performance of R&B singer John Legend covering Pride. It's a great slow piano version and the video is a mix of studio scenes where you can see John singing and playing the song, and video material of Martin Luther King.
I don't know if he did it for a compilation or a TV special or whatever...hope it'll be released on a single as B-side or something, I want it!

In my opinion it's a really gorgeous take on this great song (even the historical fact is corrected )...it goes under your skin, and will give you goosebumps. Really, really great!

Now the question is: can anyone rip the audio and make an MP3 of it ?
  2. its oke!
but i like u2 better, i dont like the sound of johns voice

but he did a good job in his own league

  4. Sounds good to me I like it
  5. VERY nice. Love it. And I like that he has respect for U2. I like that he felt it best to not do it exactly as they did. Very nice, indeed.
  6. That was an AMAZING version! I like U2's better, but that was still awesome!!
I'm really glad he didn't destroy the song
  7. I usually like it when people do their own interpretations of a U2 song, instead of trying to do it exactly the same. I thought this was pretty good!
  8. I think it's very good. I'm glad its being received warmly here. read about it on @U2's blog and some of those folks tore it up!
  9. Very nice version.
  10. Pretty good, indeed
