1. I was a little underwhelmed when I heard the radio brodcast. I liked the happy feel of the song but felt like it was a bit all over the place. I just watched the lyric video and it made me tear up a little (?!):

    1. What a beautiful love song
    2. This band that I have loved for so long continues to give me more music.
  2. Edge is probably pouring over this page as we speak.

  3. I don't think it is experimental though, it sounds like they've tried to create a certain sound that they think will appeal to the masses which I don't think it will anyway, Im really disappointed.
  4. I've yet to give it a second listen, but I hate the "let's see how it sounds live" argument.

The album is what will have to stand the test of time, not bootlegs or concerts. The album is the artifact, the representation of the band. The album NEEDS to be good.
  5. I'm dying over Edge's vocals on this one... Its the first time in years.. And its the most enjoyable... sweetest part of the song.?!
He has that kind of sweet voice that suits the happy ,joyfull , and caring... vibe of the song

for me it's shaping up to be good, I've liked all 3 songs we've heard
  7. Ok this is not too bad at all. I was expecting something as weak as Blackout but on first listen this is the first song in years that I've played a few times upon release. And a fan of the band for close on 40 years its good to know they still exist even if the last 15 years have seen some ropey output etc. I am more than happy they still manage to make music together and continue to tour. Nothing much really touches them as a band of longevity. Hats off to them i say for just existing.

It won't appeal...in my opinion...some of the crap pop on the radio sounds better.....thats a big statement

I prefer the rockier ES than the Orbith thing (both are good though)
  10. I blame Lillywhite!
