1. Sounds great. Loving the last minute a lot

Yep, very much agree. It could use a protracted coda to fadeout either using the "I can't see what you can see" melody or even the verse hook. Seems to me they've been sitting on this so long and had so many chefs, er producers involved, that they've overcooked things a bit.

I do love parts of it though, and have just bought it on iTunes, hope the album has a less fussy mix and I think the live version will blow this one out of the water.
  3. If it means anything my nine year old daughter said to me this morning "Daddy, this is by far the best song U2 has ever done!" Again, she's nine!
  4. Sounds like a demo version, The Best Thing sounds more finished.
  5. Tune in tomorrow evening to see the band perform the new single live for the first time on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, and if you’re a U2.com subscriber, keep an eye out for a special visual art piece coming your way.
  6. "What are we doing on the message board"
everyone is different and has a right to like or not like it. Don't think I've herd or read any body saying, it's really shit, its terrible, F***ing crap.
People simply said, not the best, not the greatest, over produced.

One man's trash in another man's treasure. This site is or at least should be about opinions. You say you have everything you need to know about me from one comment..

Really, it's the internet...i don't judge people on here for having a say.
  7. No such luck, the corporate big wigs now have the boys in their clutches to sell as they please. It's gone that way! Just glad that they still make music.
My only disgruntlement with this band is the way they let tickets be sold by those big boys who rip us off. Thats the problem. That has to stop! Surely. £187 for a ticket to see this band in Twickenham!!! HA Ha, trot on! They are not worth that ticket price entry but folks pay it. This band need to address that for sure now Live Nation have them in their clutches.

I won't be paying £1.87 to see them next time if the last week's manure released is anything to go by

I put it on my Bluetooth speaker and played it out loud and my seven, six and four year old children were skipping and dancing almost immediately especially when the rhythm section really kicks in nicely. My fourth child the one year old was laughing and bouncing near the desk.

    Hope this is relevant enough
  10. I'm really missing the "saved me from myself" line. Does sound like a single edit very much like the New Years Day single edit , hopefully a longer album version what runs smoother. Over all though I like the song.
