  3. Off topic, but do you like Coldplay's new song aliens which sounds very different in the scheme of things
  4. I've got such high hopes for this record. I just hope they don't try too hard to go in too many different directions... I like albums that are eclectic but they still need a sort of cohesive sound. SOI, I thought, did that brilliantly - there was a variety in how the songs sounded but they all fit together very well. I just hope SOE isn't a smattering of different approaches, and flows well.

  9. Although I am VERY excited by the phrase 'echoes of 1950s rock' - early rock n roll is an area U2 have not spent a whole lot of time with and I am so, so hopeful for what that could mean...!
