1. Fair enough, I guess Bono would know better. Although as much as I love them could this be Bono just trying to generate hype for the single as it could be the first single of potentially the last album??
  2. I hope it's not the end...

Songs of Innocence was a great album lots of great tunes on there a little bit over produced but still an awesome album so I don't agree with the fact they can't come up with exciting material, songs that people will like.
I think The little Things is the best song U2 have done since The Troubles.

To me they have a lot still in them but would rather them go out high than fade away.
  4. Here's what worries me:

For “Songs of Experience,” U2’s self-imposed agenda was “a commitment to the fine art of songwriting,”
  5. Yeah, but it counts as work that's incomplete that could still possibly see the light of day.

    And I appreciate this:

“You’re putting out a song about your girlfriend when the world is on fire?,” Bono asked, anticipating one reaction. “Yes. Joy is an act of defiance.”
  7. I really hope this isn't U2's last album. Sorry to bring it up again, but we all have had that feeling that this could be the last album, if we all feel that way if something has to be in it.

same, they should finish their career with Songs of Ascent
  9. they can't retire until All My Life is on an album.

It would be so perfect for SoE
