  3. being a part of the younger generation might have its advantages, yet I couldn't witness all these awesome times like when the joshua tree was released or see a zoo tv concert live.

    sometimes, that makes me wish I was a little older already, but ah well, I'm enjoying the present as much as I can

    To think that I've lived through the ZooTV era acts as some comfort for me lol...

    And the fact that we can watch DVDs, Youtube material etc. also means we can at least get a feel of what it was like

    We were walking around with our toys back then, playing outdoors with the kids in the neighbourhood, while U2 rocked trough 5 continents...

    Yeah, what a thought eh? I was watching PopMart DVD the other day, and thinking that when that was all happening, I was learning how to count and looking forward to World Cup '98 in France! And spending far too much time playing with Action Men...

    and yeah, it sounds so surreal in a way.
    while I, for example, wasn't even born at that time u2 were already standing on stages and playing awesome music! so weird.

    I thought that the military service was not compulsory on the united states...here it is too, I did my registration yesterday, but "fortunately" I have some problems that very likely wil llet me out. MIlitary service sucks big time.

    I was born exactly a month after the Dortmund UF show, and they actually played in my hometown 19 days before I was born. Too bad i had no cognitive ability to realize how great they were then.
