1. I am starting to like the song
  2. Several U2Starters appear to be having a Road to Damascus turnaround with this song..
  3. My opinion hasn't changed. I love the song, but the mix is terrible. Hoping the album sounds more professionally done. I can't believe that U2 of all people have someone engineering their tracks that could make them sound this terrible. With all of the resources they have, they should have the best fucking sounding tracks in the game. I've heard mixes my musician friends have done that are better.

Also the arrangement could be better and I'm hoping it's different on the album version. Edge said that the 'other' mix they have that he thinks they'll release is less guitar oriented. I hope that means the glittery guitar in the chorus is missing from that version.

    Good to know.
    Where does he say that?

Strange, why even release it as a single then? Because they made a commitment and it was planned for the promotion of the album I guess?

because you can do different things with a single release. maybe the album version is different because it has to blend it with the other songs.
  6. I really like it now!

I know, but it doesn't happen that often (except a shorter, more radio friendly version, but not a whole different mix). You can only make one first impression. Ah well, I like it and hope the album version is better.
