1. First listen 6/10 but then again U2 songs tend to grow on you
  2. Too comercial for me, Nothing new on this Best thing single...where's the fanatism on David Bowie, Bono & co?
  3. What could the visual art be for the subscribers? Will it be physical? A video? A photograph?

  4. I keep singing boy instead of time too. Glad I'm not the only person who at least thought that was what was sung in the Kygo version. Haha

  5. I think picking away at it on guitar gave a new perspective on the song. I do agree with Alex (RattleandHum1988) that the mix still isn't great but that's something that can be improved I guess, and the sci fi mix was an improvement with only a few tweaks so who knows where it could go live.

I know, but it doesn't happen that often (except a shorter, more radio friendly version, but not a whole different mix). You can only make one first impression. Ah well, I like it and hope the album version is better.

It does not happen every release but the single mixes of OOTS, COBL, Crazy Tonight among others were different than the album mixes.
  7. No. Only The Blackout and Light to Home were.

It definitely was what was sung in that version. The vocal was definitely recorded again. It's not the only lyric that's changed.
  9. I'm really loving this. It makes me so happy. I have a 23 year old that loved it when he heard it, I'm 30, and my parents who are in their early 50s like it. I think the band did a good job here!

Also. Regarding these people complaining about relevancy, Bono once said something along the lines of "if you start a band and don't want to become the next Beatles or Stones why bother?" This band has ALWAYS wanted to be "relevant" and it isn't a bad thing!!!
