  4. Welcome. What I wouln'dt give to play a instrument (other than harmonica) Some of my best friends play bass. Until I learn something worth while I'll stick to lyrics, and my skillls as a A.V. Tech. (I never told any of you I'm a qualified A.V. tech, did I?)

    You are? Cool. Try guitar. You seem to have some musical knowledge, so you could probably teach yourself.

    I got a Ridgewood Strat kit for £125 about 2 years ago, still going strong although I WISH IT HAD A HUMBUCKER!

    That said, I should really look to invest in a good guitar one day...I'm thinking Gibsons...(copies, that is, not the REAL deal...)

  11. i also have another buddie who offered me his Epiphone LP Jr for 200. I misphrased myself yesterday. I have no qualifications in video, but I am qualified on lights and sound. I singlehandedly saved a practice for the school musical last year.

    You can put a humbucker on your strat very easily, there are even some that don't require you to make extra holes.
