Experience and Innocence tour
Legs (3): Promo tour, Leg 1: North America, Leg 2: Europe
Shows: 75
  1. Bullet The Trump Sky

  2. I noticed in the interview Bono saying they'll be playing a few SOE songs on TJT tour. Well they've already played the little things and the best thing seems an obvious choice next but 'a few' might suggest another one, I guess the Blackout would be the next obvious one.

Yes I agree for sure. Whatever is or has been up - much love to Bono. Those two emotionally charged performances on Jimmy Fallon are epic - they've had me welling up - pure U2...

  4. Vaporised in a single tweet. Wow. Just wow. Goosebumps.
  5. Okay, that sounded WAY better live. WAY better. WAAAAYAYAYYAY better.

Bono sounds and seems tired though Not in that he was off key or singing badly, but he wasn't....being Bono. He didn't grab the mic and walk around, sometimes he was late starting a vocal in a measure, etc.

    Sounded great though.

He has had trouble in singing at the right measure and tempo since 2015. Maybe his internal metronome has run out off batteries after all these years
  9. ...Ground shakes but the children can’t weep
    Vaporized in a single tweet
The emperor rises from his golden throne
    Never knowing, never BEING known
The lights are on the presidents home
Oh my god I’ve never felt so alone
    Outside its America
    Outside its America...
  10. Likewise as I'm sure all of us do, and I agree he looks reasonably healthy and well, just a little older like we all do. Hopefully it's nothing, and hopefully it's somethinig that has passed, although there certainly is an air of uncertainty in that radio interview, so it sounds like from what Bono was saying something of a mortal magnitude has been happening over the last while in his life that we don't know about.

Probably best not to openly speculate, other than something has clearly been up behind the scenes, and just hope he and all in the U2 family are well and send them our love and best wishes and treasure what we have - we're kinda very lucky to be alive in the same space and time and share this journey. I know it's only rock and roll but I like it and all that.
