1. Tip on Rapidshare.Once you've downloaded the first .rar file, and you don't want to wait ,say,90 mins to get part 2,3 etc.,(if your using the free download system),reeboot your PC.That way you will get another IP number and Rapidshare should be available again.........

That's not always the case, most people have a static IP address and rebooting doesn't change that. And for the people with a dynamic IP address, it doesn't change every time you reboot too. But if it does you don't even have to reboot, just do this in Windows:

Start > Run (or Windows key + R)
    Type: cmd [enter]
    Type: ipconfig /release [enter]
    Type: ipconfig /renew [enter]

Et voila, a new IP is heading your way.

Note: this is only working if you're not behind a router but directly on the modem, otherwise rebooting would only work if you reboot the modem itself.
  3. No harm in trying though........

  7. Sometimes you can't make it on your own. But Dad's tough, no doubt like Bono's, and taught me self-reliance. Long I've waited hoping to find the answer such. Since a tip's being given here I'll ask: WinRar's free only for 40 days, no? After that one must purchase: $29, U.S.? Thanks/Sorry if I've broken any rules-!!
  8. I am using the program stuffit expander with my mac to open these files, and I can't seem to get all of them to work. I was only able two open two, which contained three of the four sections of the concert, so I am not missing the final piece which is The frist time through Miss Sarejavo. I either get an error message, or it just refuses to open the file. Can anyone help me out on this one?
  9. i have no idea sorry =( i wasnt able 2 either... i gave up because after i downloaded 1 part it i would download another and then the part that I downloaded earlier was gone =( sucks.... i wanna see it

    'IP Config, Baby!"

I worked for the student Tech Support team at my school. 95% of the problems were solved by releasing and renewing the IP address. It changed my life and it just might do so again! Wish I knew this worked on Rapidshare before paying for a premium account!

Well, you don't have to purchase it; after 40 days, a message (annoying!) will appear every time you open WinRar saying "You must purchase" etc, but you don't have to. You simply close the window and follow with your work.
