1. I don’t think I’d rate it 5 stars but then it depends what we’re comparing it to. It was easily the best album of 2014 imo In fact it was easily the best album since ATYCLB in my eyes and I’m talking about from any artist, however it was no Achtung baby or Joshua Tree so what do we rate them. I’m sure Q gave NLOTH 5 stars as well and it seems like anyone they do interviews with about the new album give it a 5/5, rolling stone seem to be getting the interviews lately so I wouldn’t be surprised to see SOE get 5/5 as well.
  2. Actually it was rolling stone that gave NLOTH 5/5 as well not Q just to correct myself above.
  3. NLOTH was RS Album of the year in 2009 too.

  4. And basically everything that the band does is amazing to them. Hard to find a piece from them about U2 with anything negative in it in recent years... I never considered it impartial.

  5. It was always a bit odd to see SOI ranked so high on that list...didn't make any sense. It's a good record nonetheless
  6. NLOTH I actually listen to unlike SOI
  7. I love SOI... I listen to it more than anything since Pop
  8. I really did think it was the best album of 2014.

  10. So, you know that One Tree Hill performance they dedicated to Chester Bennington? Well.. it's not shown much but it's still a wonderful gesture from U2. (Some other artists are shown giving their words as OTH plays in the background.)
