    Anyway, lots of Spanish fans are literally saying: "if there is no presale access with the subscription, I will not be renewing". We'll see I guess.

    Anyway, all I care about is that the u2.com rep wasnt lying to me when they said as long as I had the SMS box checked, I'd be fine. Still can't believe they would do public US on sale the week of Thanksgiving... but nothing shocks me anymore. (If presales begin on 11/15 as reported, that would make public on 11/20, I imagine)

    I think a lot of people will not renew if they don't offer pre-sale. The annual gifts are nice, but not essential. Knowing for sure that you will attend one or more shows is.

    I agree. I have never actually opened the gifts.

    The are lots of ways of getting tickets though even if you miss out on a pre-sale.

In regards to talk about the presale I’m almost certain they will still exist given that it still mentions you have to agree to receive texts to participate in the pre sales if and when the band tours. They probably have taken away the guarantee of a pre sale because if you don’t agree to texts then you aren’t guaranteed the pre sale.
