  5. From what we have heard so far, I am really looking forward to the album, I love the songs they have released!
  6. Same Tim, sounds like the album will have a really good feel to it, 'defiant joy' and all that as Bono puts it. I can't imagine how one of next year's setlists is going to look - I think some of the war horses may have just been retired on TJT30, it will be very interesting to see.
  7. Once U2 throw in the deep meaningful songs (the little things, landlady, Red Flag Day (I could just name the rest of the LP) this album is going to take some beating I tell you.

    Everything I've heard so far is so enjoyable and sounding fresh and really really strong, no mean feat.

    I am looking forward to 1st december so much now !
  9. I don't really dislike the new songs but..... Best Thing is This Is, American Soul is Volcano, Get Out Of Your Own Way sounds a lot like Invisible and The Blackout is just an ordinary rock song......

    Like I said, it's not that I think these are bad songs (besides Best Thing) but it's kinda like they ran out of idea's.

    The creativity well dried up some time ago. They still have a spark every now and then but....
