1. Anyone know how to access the pre-order songs of you pre-ordered a physical version? I still haven't received any download info after pre-ordering the vinyl from the official U2 Universal Music Store which is one of the links they provide on their home page.
  2. Can i buy one ticket for New York and one for London on one account?
  3. To quote Rick Pitino when he was with the Boston Celtics that “Achtung Baby and The Joshua Tree are not going to walk through door “. I enjoy the new stuff especially Little Things but everything they do will pale in comparison to AB and TJT. Just enjoy and appreciate it. I will.

Wish I could help you...I also pre-ordered physical CD deluxe version from Universal Music Store and received nothing. I just ended up spending $2.75 extra on iTunes to get GOOYOW and The Blackout just so I could have those on my phone for now!
  5. What? The album wasn't instantly downloaded to my phone?? Blasphemy! I'm done with U2. /s
  6. Nope, but Bono's got your girlfriend's number, just in case!
  7. So Far..

    3. You’re The Best Thing About Me - Like it a lot. Groovy tune. Love Edges's vocals.
    8-10

    4. Get Out Of Your Own Way - Winter re-worked. Great until the 2nd half of song. Then songs sucks ass. Bad lyrics in 2nd half. Why change a song about your daughters to a political song? Lazy writing. 5-10 Could have been 9-10.

    5. American Soul - I don't mind Kendrick actually. Volcano #2. Lyrics suck. Too political. Blah 3-10

    9. The Little Things That Give You Away - Predicting at least a 7-10

    11. The Blackout - It starts like it might kick ass But never gets there. Silly lyrics. Great bass but that's about it. Blah. 3-10

Since POP I usually only like 4 or 5 songs from a U2 album so i guess I'm on track for this one.
  8. We've ben missing you, dude! Great to see ya around
  9. Blackout would be better with some sense in its lyrics, there's none to be found.

The Best Thing is too cheesy and badly produced/mixed, if the SciFi version would be the real one we'd be talking differently.

American Soul would be better if it didn't rip-off Volcano and Lucifer's Hands so blatantly - not even the 'brother albums' explanation can justify that lack of creativity because they're thematically unrelated songs.

That leaves Get Out Of Your Own Way as the only track that's really worth it imho. It's cheesy, it's poppy, it's Coldplayish, it's full of U2 cliches... But at least its lyrics make some sense and dude, it's catchy. And Bono's phrasing and armonies of the verses, and how it links them to the song's refrain, is nothing less than brilliant.

    Being Coldplayish is positive thing?

to me: Blackout is better the live (rockier) version, but still like the studio on

Best Thing grew on me and even if it's overproduced, I like it

American Soul: at first listen I was like "wtf?" But now I like it... But still think if they put Stingray Guitar and Glastonbury instead of Lucifers Hands, Volcano and American soul - it would be mucu much better

GOOYOW: cheesy AF, the worst ooohs they've ever done... the chorus is catchy, yes... but it doesn't save it...

I'm very curious how Little Things will sound on record, that TV version is great IMO
