    Wait 1 month
  3. what about Crystal Ballroom? That's up there with Street Missions
  4. Got this one stuck in my head.
  5. Same. Been humming it all day long, filling some Bongolese in the parts of the lyrics I don't know yet
  6. After watching the leaked clips, I have the countdowns in my head when I listen to this now

Along with all the tour merchandise?
  8. I wish the little melodic vocal fill they do after singing "get out of your own way" was a guitar or synth or ANYTHING instead.

I have to say, after showing my girlfriend the song this morning (who said she thought the song was generic in terms of just sounding like a regular old U2 song) it's stuck in my head a little bit...
  9. One thing I think is interesting about this song is... the chorus (the "GOOYOW" line) lacks a bit of a punch, not bad on the studio setting, but I'm intrigued on hearing them playing it live, cause I guess it'll have Bono singing it a lot more raw and with more passion. In other words, I expect this song to be significantly better when playing it live.

    ---

(Also, this applies to the whole album. WE ALL KNOW ALREADY that U2 albums are overproduced, if you're still expecting it to be NOT overproduced and are disappointed when you find it is, then it's on you

But on the other hand WE ALSO KNOW that live versions, which are more raw and have more passion in them, are better than their studio counterparts.

It's better to learn to like/love the studio versions as they're the template they'll use for the awesome live performances)

I can't wait to hear how they're gonna play it live, and if live version will make it sound less or even more like Beautiful Day
