Yeah I don't think they are as bad as advertised on here

I prefer live versions to be better- justifies the $$$ we spend on live shows.

I really don't like the studio version of Bad and Exit

I'm not sure how it works for me, but I just can't "separate" the versions.
Objectively for me, live Bad is way better than studio Bad (same applies to 99% of U2 songs), but when I hear the studio version, I'm listening to Denver 87, Wembley 93, and South Bend 01 all at the same time...
Songs I didn't like in an album, after listening to them live, I start liking them in the album (from Miracle to Zoo Station).
Then maybe, that's why I hate the live version of Mercy so much... it really ruins the studio version for me.

Get your point, disagree about Bad. The album version of Bad is intimate and sad, while the live version is bombastic and liberating.
Not saying one is better than the other, they're different. That goes for a number of U2 songs for me.
But yeah, I think this one WILL be better live. The Miracle (while I do enjoy the album version) was CRAZY good when you were in the arena.

That'll be in the 30th Anniversary Super Duper Deluxe Hologram version where the boys in their late 80's will appear in your living room to sing it live for you. It'll only cost $1,499. But you can get it free if you buy two tickets for their upcoming 65th Anniversary of the October album. Which by the way was re-recorded in 2032 for the 50th anniversary after the re-recording of Pop in 2027 was a huge success. Bono admitted though that his stolen briefcase with his October lyrics really didn't contain any lyrics afterall.
